It SHOULD be easy. As a species, humans have gotten pretty adept at self-preservation, and an effective use of safety equipment and practices pretty much guarantees that we're going to be at the top of the food chain for at least a few more years (sorry, Sharknado). There are plenty of options for covering the basics; ensuring that various parts of your person don't get poked, squashed, or otherwise abused really is a simple thing - complicated in part by the enormous number of choices out there. It's true - we sell a LOT of items that are guaranteed to preserve you in near factory-condition. That part of safety really is pretty easy - and it should be. --- ### However... There are a significant number of safety-related areas that aren't quite so nuts and bolts. Whether it's designing an engineered fall protection system, determining how to best continue breathing air that meets your personal requirements for continuing to live, or selecting the right combination of gloves, glasses, and headgear to keep you as pristine as possible, safety CAN stop being easy.
